Our remaining cat Cefer sadly passed away on Monday 15th June 2015.

Cefer was met on the other side by Bart who has been keeping a branch free for Cefer on the tree of eternal life; along with Spooky and Lola.

Cefer had decided to stop eating and was very old and tired and suffering many age related pains. In the end his parts were just giving up and Cefer was suffering stage three kidney failure. We wanted to get Cefer some dental treatment for his painful teeth but his old body was not good enough to survive anaesthetics. Shari held him at our vets in Portishead and he purred contentedly as he closed his eyes in her arms for the very last time; and was helped peacefully across the Rainbow bridge by our kind vets.

Although it is a very sad time for us both, Cefer was fortunate to enjoy the longest life of all of our cats and has only really had to visit the vets in the last 12 months or so.

Rest In Peace Cefer 17th October 1993 – 15th June 2015 (Equivalent human age – an astounding 103.7 years)

RIP Cefer 17th October 1993 – 15th June 2015

17th November 2014. Today we said goodbye to Spooky, our little princess. She has joined Bart and Lola on the other side of Rainbow Bridge.

Spooky kind of moved in with us from elsewhere. We had a cat house on our door step and one morning we heard noises. We expected a wild animal to run out and it turned out to be the cutest little girl cat. So we named her Spooky as she spooked us.

Rest in Peace, Princess Caraboo, our precious Dolly…. until we meet again.
